a Member of the Bienville Club, you are afforded three unique
membership privileges through its affiliation with Club Corporation of
America:
-Membership by Invitation
-Legacy
-Associate Club Privileges
Membership By Invitation
Membership by Invitation is the right and privilege that each Member
has to sponsor his or her own personal friends, family members and
business associates into Membership in the Club. It is a selection
process that insures each Member the opportunity to enhance the
Membership roster with those individuals of similar interests as his or
her own. Membership by Invitation
recognizes that Club Management are merely "stewards" of the Club and
only Members may issue invitations to prospective Members. Membership by Invitation
attracts people of similar interests which allows the Club to schedule
activities and events that will attract Members and be well attended.
It also helps promote a wide range of social and business network
possibilities. The active support and sponsorship of new Members by
current Members will enable the Club to overcome the normal annual
attrition of its Members. If every Member sponsors one new Member, the
Club will attain its full complement of Members and have to establish a
waiting list for acceptance. This would significantly enhance the
Club's image in the community.
Legacy
The
benefit of Legacy Membership has been established to provide Members'
children and grandchildren, 21 years of age or older, affordable access
to Bienville Club and participating Associate Clubs. The recipient of a
Legacy Membership may defer payment of the customary initiation Fee in
the Bienville Club for a minimum of five years, or until the age of 37,
whichever is of greater benefit to the Member. The amount or the
initiation deposit is determined on the date the Legacy Membership is
activated, thereby protecting your designees from future initiation fee
escalations. Monthly dues will be payable upon enrollment.
The Associate Clubs
The Associate Club benefit offers the busy traveling executive or
vacationer access to some of the finest private city, county, athletic
and resort clubs around the world. You receive full membership
privileges at over 200 Associate Clubs, which are located more than 100
miles from your principle homes, places of business and home Club. From time to time ACI (Associate Clubs International) who provide this benefit in partnership with us changes these guidelines. Your Private Clubs
magazine subscription will provide a continually updated list of
participating Associate Clubs. At many of the Country Clubs, you are
entitled to play golf and pay only a cart fee. All charges that you
incur at an Associate Club are billed back to your Bienville Club
statement.

GENERAL CLUB INFORMATION
*Lunch is served in the Wildcatter Grill, Monday through Friday from 11:30 am until 2:30 pm. The dress code is business casual (slacks and open collar shirt, no denim).
*Dinner is served Tuesday through Saturday from 6:30 until 10:30 pm. The dress code is business casual Tuesday through Thursday evening. Coat and tie are required Friday and Saturday evenings.
*The Club provides a dance band every Thursday, Friday and Saturday evenings during dinner service.
*The President’s Bar and Lounge is available to our members throughout the week. Smoking is welcome in this area only. Every Thursday evening the Club offers happy hour drink prices in the President’s Bar from 5:30 until 7:30 pm.
*The Club is closed Monday evening, Saturday afternoon and all day Sunday
*Valet parking is available for a rate of $7.00 during the Club’s hours of operation at the south entrance of the building.
*We require a letter of introduction for all visitors from a reciprocal club. The letter should be faxed to 713-659-1281
*The Club has 10 private rooms available for private events. These rooms may be booked through the Catering Department. Please contact the Director of Catering at the Club for menus, pricing and availability.
